Dr. P.T. Dinh grew up in Baton Rouge and has called Louisiana home for over 40 years. He graduated from Catholic High School. His undergraduate work includes a Bachelor of Science in zoology from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from Louisiana State University. After his undergraduate education, he earned a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Houston.
